Pastor
Rich Neeley
Pastor Rich is a longtime member of Kansas City. He was born and raised in Blue
springs, Missouri. He has been Children's Pastor, Youth Pastor, Associate Pastor
and Senior Pastor throughout the pastor 12 years. Rich is a graduate of the
University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical
Engineering. He is currently working towards completing a Master's of Divinity
Degree at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has been married to his
wife, Chris, for the past 20 years and they have two teenage children, Ashley
and Zack.
Rev. Mark Mangels
Rev. Mark has a long history with Fairmount Christian Church. He has been
Youth Pastor, Music Minister, Associate Minister and Interim Pastor throughout
the past 15 years. Currently, Mark is our Worship Leader and leads our
music ministry. Mark is a
graduate of William Jewell College and has a Masters of Science Degree in
Education from Pittsburg State University. He has further studies at
Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He
is a middle school science teacher at Nowlin Middle School in the Independence
School District.
Kim Mangels
Kim is our piano player
and the director of Little Light Daycare, the daycare residing in the church.
Mark and Kim have 4 children, Matthew, Megan, Katie, and Cooper, and 4
grandchildren. The Mangels family loves spending time together and playing
sports. They are a down to earth, fun loving family who love following
Jesus and serving His church. Kim also
services as Fairmount's Director of Children's Ministry
Kristy Ross
Kristy comes to
Fairmount Christian Church
with an extensive 20 year background in church ministry.
Growing up a pastor's daughter, she attended Central Bible College in
Springfield, Missouri with a major in music. She has worked for churches
in the Kansas City area such as Grandview Assembly, Lutheran Church of the
Resurrection and Lee's Summit First Assembly. She has also taught preschool
through 12th grade music for Grandview Christian School. She teaches
private piano lessons and enjoys the many family activities that go along with
having 5 children. She is married and her children are ages 5 to 17.
J.R. Leaming
J.R. Leaming is a long time member of Fairmount Christian
Church. Gifted in music, he plays guitar and sings often for the congregation on
Sunday mornings. His smile and friendly conversation is contagious. Keep an eye
out, J.R. and wife Brenda may be the ones you see riding the Harley Davidson
motorcycle down the street.
